Augustine joined Chui in 2026. He is an investment professional with experience across early and growth-stage technology companies in Africa. He began his career in venture capital at Funema VC, where he worked closely with startups on investment readiness and fundraising strategies.

He later joined Metis Capital Partners, a Nigerian single-family office, where he helped manage a $100K annual Seed Fund deploying over $150K to six companies. Augustine subsequently joined Partech as an Analyst, supporting the deployment of the African investment strategy for the $300M growth equity Fund II.

Augustine holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University. He has completed the Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) certification, is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA), and has passed Level 1 of the CFA program. In April 2025, he completed the African Private Equity Fellowship, organized by Proparco in partnership with France Invest and Campus AFD.
