Franklin joined Chui Ventures in 2023. He is a passionate and experienced venture capital operator with a drive fixated on making sure that the startup and business ecosystem is well developed for the well-being of the African continent. He is involved in the end-to-end investment process (i.e. sourcing, due diligence, and support) of tech-enabled startups in Africa.

 

Before joining Chui, Franklin was the Lead Venture Analyst at GetEquity, a company building an infrastructure that enables Private Markets in Africa and Emerging. His engagement in the venture capital space in Africa also includes his involvement with Expert Dojo, which is an international startup accelerator with a strong footprint in Africa, and Dream VC, for whom he is a 2022 Investor Accelerator Fellow. In addition to his VC experience, Franklin has a deep expertise and understanding of financial and economic markets.

 

He is a Chemical Engineering graduate of the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) and brings his engineering, analytical, and problem-solving background to the benefit of founders and startups.
