Mukami joined Chui Ventures in 2022. Her role involves overseeing deal execution and managing the portfolio. She has successfully led transactions across Africa in the fintech, agriculture, SaaS, and social commerce industries, bringing more than seven years of experience in East Africa’s private and public capital markets to the team and is passionate about connecting visionary African entrepreneurs with strategic capital.

 

Before joining Chui Ventures, Mukami served as an Investment Operations Officer at a subsidiary of Centum Investments, where she oversaw the execution and management of the firm’s investment activities. Prior to that, she worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Dyer & Blair Investment Bank.

 

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in finance from Strathmore University and a Financial Modeling and Valuation (FMVA) certificate from the CFI Institute.
